How we work
From first call to an auditor-ready handoff
This page maps a typical Audit-Ready Records Preparation engagement. Year-end support and health reviews follow the same rhythm with shorter or longer middle weeks.
-
Scoping conversation
We confirm your year-end date, accounting software, entity structure, and whether an auditor or lender already issued a PBC list. You leave with a rough fee band and a list of exports to prepare.
-
Records intake
Within five business days of receiving the ledger export, we return a gap list: missing reconciliations, unnamed folders, and accounts that will attract sample testing.
-
Cleanup & schedules
Two to four weeks of hands-on work—cash, receivables, payables, fixed assets, and inventory bridges where needed. Your bookkeeper stays involved so routines stick after we leave.
-
Handoff pack
You receive a structured working-paper pack and an open-item register. Optional joint call with your auditor so filenames and assertions match their checklist.

Tell us your fieldwork window and we will propose start dates that leave enough cleanup time before the first PBC deadline.
