About
A Taichung practice for books that survive scrutiny
Intelli Data exists for owner-managed SMEs that need financial records organised for audit fieldwork, bank reviews, and internal decision-making—without replacing the bookkeeper or the independent auditor.
Origin
The practice grew from repeated year-end calls in Greater Taichung: manufacturers and trading firms with capable bookkeepers, incomplete schedules, and auditors waiting on evidence that lived in personal email folders. We formed Intelli Data to sit between the day-to-day ledger and the formal audit—preparing packs, not issuing opinions.
How we work
We start with your accounting export and a conversation about who will read the pack—statutory auditor, lender, or both. Then we rebuild reconciliations and naming conventions so a stranger to your business can follow the trail. Site visits happen when inventory, fixed assets, or cash handling need eyes on the floor; otherwise we work from shared file rooms.
Values in practice
- Plain language in findings—no padding that hides the real gap.
- Respect for existing bookkeepers; we document alongside them rather than overwrite their routines overnight.
- Clear boundaries: preparation and support are not a substitute for an independent audit opinion.
- Taiwan-aware timing around lunar new year closes and local filing calendars.
People
Engagements are led by a senior practitioner with SME audit-support experience, backed by contract reviewers for peak year-end weeks. Clients always keep a named contact who knows the open-item list personally.
